Bill Mays – Custom Auto Emblem

Bill Mays, owner and founder of the telecom equipment provider Call One Inc., took his classic car hobby to the next level and painstakingly built a highly-customized Corvette, affectionately dubbed “Kinda.” The finishing touch was a pair of custom chrome badges, and that’s where I came in. Working from a typeface of Bill’s choosing, I sculpted the master, found a local 3D scanner/printer to replicate it in ABS plastic, as well as metal-plating shop to chrome it, this was a truly unique project that I was fortunate to have been chosen for.
