The rain this week has been relentless. The parking lot in front of the apartment, the courtyard behind it, and parts of my leaky car’s interior are all under water. In a moment of relief from the downpour, I caught this rainbow arcing over Wickham Road with my phone’s camera:
I just got the phone (a Palm Centro) last Thursday. Slightly used for $65, came with everything. Some guy’s employer bought it as a business phone, then the company switched providers and gave him a Blackberry, so he sold the Centro on Craig’sList. Which is good, because I had just sent my old Sanyo Katana Eclipse through a hot water cycle in the washing machine. Oops. The Katana Eclipse was pretty cool for a Sanyo, but it doesn’t hold a candle to all the planner and reminder functionality of the Palm OS… I set between 3 and 6 reminders for myself every day, and pretty much never forget to do anything anymore. Grocery lists go in there… Driving directions… Infinite expandability (plenty of {mostly} free applications out there for the Palm OS)… It’s working out well for me.
