Hope everyone’s Independence Day was a good one. I had a great time this year out at Lee Wenner Park. They launched fireworks from a barge in the Indian River, and had a big live symphony playing classical pieces (sort of) in synchronization with the show from the amphitheater. Here’s a sampling of my photos:

We got out there after dinner at about 7, and just chilled out in the (really nice) grass until the show started at 9:15PM. Plenty of patriotism everywhere, smell of charcoal grills, people just being courteous to one another, it felt good. Hooray, America.
