Ben is Labeled a Photoshop Expert by eLance

I just got an e-mail from eLance (the sounded redundant…) stating that they’d implemented a new “Groups” system, and that I had been automatically added to one of these groups — “Photoshop Experts” — based upon my Top-5% score on their Adobe Photoshop knowledge examinations. Directly following is the content of that e-mail:

Hi Benjamin,

Congratulations. Based on your Elance skill test results, you’ve qualified and have been admitted as an inaugural member of the Adobe Photoshop Experts on Elance.

When you view your Elance profile, you’ll notice a new badge in the “Groups” section of your profile.

Elance Groups are communities of service providers that are formed based on professional affiliations and verified expertise. Groups are organized by sponsoring companies who set their group’s membership criteria – usually passing a specific Elance skill test, but sometimes based on a verifiable 3rd party credential.

Congratulations on being one of the inaugural group members!

Sincerely,

Mike Fox
Elance

Upon closer inspection, I found out that I’m one of only 15 or so “Photoshop Experts” in the entire state of Florida.

In case you haven’t been yet, check out my profile on eLance, where you can see in real-time where I stand among the designer masses in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, XHTML, CSS, and PC Graphics technology (see link below):
